6.6 Evaluation

Evaluation makes clear whether one has reached one's aims. Depending on the specific situation and characteristics of the patient and after thorough consultation of the patient one checks whether one or more of the following therapeutic goals were established:

Given these aims it is important to realize that therapeutic procedures are always differentiations of more general practices. In case of PVD the overall process is called sex counselling, which on its turn is part of medical and/or psychotherapeutic treatment regimens. Since these processes should have passed lege arte, one also evaluates the complete treatment process including the therapeutical relationship.
