z.3.x.2 Limits

The PSOM approach finds its limits in daily practice. Health care is bound by limitations in resources as time, men power, money, but also by limitations in terms of managing complexity. Our condition humaine forces us to simplify the world we live in. It is impossible to avoid selection in terms of perception, remembering, reasoning, decision making etc.acute emergencies or clear cut diseases can be treated very well using a reductionist stance. Every day many patients are very well treated by one person using one or more drugs or mechanical interventions.
